Abstract:
Reusable liquid rocket engines have evolved into a core technology pursued by spacefaring nations across the globe. This report conducts an in-depth analysis of the major technical challenges confronting reusable engines, covering structural reliability, service life evaluation, multi-time ignition, deep throttling, reentry process control, fault diagnosis, inspection and maintenance, and other aspects. In response to the application requirements and technical bottlenecks of reusability, it puts forward key technical research tasks to be carried out, and further discusses the future development pathways for reusable engines.
