The Principle of Uniformity of Machining and Measurement
 
Abstract:
The development of manufacturing has progressed through mechanization, automatization, digitalization, and intelligentization. Machining and measurement are two aspects of manufacturing that have remained separate despite the increasing adoption of in-situ/on-line measurement applications. This report will discuss the principles of uniformity between machining and measurement from the perspective of atomic-scale manufacturing.
